Union Pacific Railroad Crossing Maintenance - South Avenue
Union Pacific Railroad will be performing maintenance at the crossing located on South Avenue between Stephens Road and Rowles Road in Tehama County. The crossing maintenance is part of a larger Union Pacific Railroad project that will perform maintenance to a number of crossings along their tracks between Lincoln and Lakehead. In order to complete the maintenance, Union Pacific Railroad will be completely closing the crossing for approximately four (4) days.

Union Pacific Railroad officials plan to close the crossing and begin repairs on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at midnight. The crossing repairs are anticipated to be completed by Friday, April 5, 2019. Click here to view the detour routes...



The Jellys Ferry Bridge will be CLOSED indefinitely beginning Tuesday August 07, 2018.
On August 7, 2018 a Caltrans inspection team performed an in-depth inspection of the Jellys Ferry Bridge. This inspection revealed significant defects and Caltrans has deemed these defects serious enough to require that the structure remain closed until further notice.

UPDATE: March 07, 2019
