Tehama County Flood Emergency Information

Tehama County offers sandbags and sand, free of charge at the following locations:

  • 9380 San Benito Ave., Gerber, Public Works Department (Map)

  • 1850 Walnut St., Red Bluff, at the Walnut St. complex (Map)

  • 814 5th Street, Corning, across the street from the Corning Fire Department (Map)

Sandbags, when properly filled and placed, will redirect storm water and debris flows away from property and property improvements.

Private levees are to be repaired under the responsibility of private parties. It is not the responsibility of Tehama County to repair private levees.
